I know this is later than normal. This has been a crazy week. Tuesday the Oak Ridge High School had an early release, then Wednesday no school, then Thursday a two hour delay. Made it a bit hard to get done what I normally get done and messed with my schedule big time. So now I have to decide if I am going to CVS or Walgreens today and I think I am from what I have seen on other blogs including cheap Chex Mix at Walgreens and someone had some free toothpaste after coupon, which I like to donate.
Here is the Pocket Your Dollars CVS listing for this week. Pepsi 12 packs 6 for $20 and receive $5 back in ECBs, limit 6 12 packs. This comes out to 6 for $15 after ECBS or $2.50 each. Food Lion has a sale right now for Pepsi 12 packs 4 for $10 and I don’t think you have to buy 4. May buy 1 or 2 12 packs at Food Lion, as I do love Diet Cherry Pepsi, but otherwise, we prefer Coke. The Pepsi Deal also includes Planters peanuts 16 oz. for $3 and there is a $1 off 2 coupon 11/17 SS (expires today) or from 1/26 SS. Possible fillers include Dawn dish liquid 9 oz. $.99 or Puffs Plus tissues 48 to 68 ct. $.99. There is a Dawn coupon from the 12/29 P&G that expires today. Coke 2 liters $.99, limit 5. Ragu or Bertolli pasta sauce 15 to 24 oz. 3 for $5 and when you buy $10 worth, receive $3 back in ECBs, limit 1. Buy 6 Ragu sauces for $10 and use 3 $.75 off 2 from 1/5 RP or 1/26 RP for $2.25 off. Pay $7.75 and receive $3 back in ECBs, so like paying $4.75 for 6 which is about $.80 per jar. If CVS carried the flavor that we prefer, I would be doing this deal, even if I didn’t have three of the coupons, which I don’t. I see one could do similar with the Kraft Salad Dressing 16 oz. $2.50, buy 4 for $10 and use 2 $.75 off 2 coupons from 1/26 SS to pay $8.50 and receive $3 back in ECBs, so like paying $5.50 for 4 salad dressings which comes out to about $1.38. Again, CVS carries very limited choices, and this isn’t that great a price, but it isn’t bad if you have ECBs to spend and CVS carries a variety you like. Dr. Pepper 2 liters $.88, limit 5. Gallon of milk skim, 1%, 2% or whole $3.59 and receive $1 back in ECBs, limit 2. Other fillers include Renuzit Adjustables 7 oz. or Just the Basics dish liquid 20 oz. $.88. Ah, CVS has the free toothpaste. Colgate Total 4 to 4.2 oz. or 360 toothbrush $2.99 and receive $2 back in ECBs, limit 2. Use $1 off 1 from 1/19 SS. There is a free after ECBs item Estroven 28 to 40 ct. or icool 30 ct. $10 and receive $10 in ECBs, limit 1. 24 pack purified water 16.9 oz. bottles $2.44, limit 3. Receive a $.25 off 1 Nabisco Big Bag 3 oz., Coke 1.25 liter bottle or Hershey’s Snack size 6 pk. from the CVS coupon machine. This makes those items $.74 which I think I like the Hershey’s Snack Size 6 pack best. Why would I pay $.74 for a 1.25 liter, when they have a 2 liter for $.99? Pocket Your Dollars mentions a mail in rebate on some items that can make them free. The DiGiorno pizza price is cheaper at Walgreens and Target, which you could price match at Walmart. For me, mainly the free toothpaste, maybe some 2 liters and maybe one of the Hershey’s 6 pack snack size chocolates, but I think that is about it. I think I have some ECBs to use up soon too.
Here is the Pocket Your Dollars Walgreens listing. Pepsi 2 liters $.99, limit 3. Russell Stover valentine candy singles .87 to 1.25 oz. $.33 when buying 3, or $.39 when not buying 3. Scott Naturals Paper towels 6 roll pack $4.99 and use $1 off 1 Walgreens coupon booklet and use the $1 off 1 from 1/12 SS for a final price of $2.99. Nice Cashew halves & pieces 8 or 9.25 oz. $1.99. Combos 6.3 oz., Chex Mix 5.5 to 8.75 oz., Bugles 7.5 oz. or Gardetto’s 5.5 oz. $.99. Use $.50 off 2 chex mix from 12/15 SS or $.50 off 2 $.50 off 2 Bugles Corn Snacks, Chex Mix, Pillsbury Baguette Chips, Gardetto’s Snack Mix Or Green Giant Veggie Snack Chips, Any 4 Oz. Sunny Smile tableware cups 20 pk, cutlery 24 or 48 pk., Straws 100 pk., toothpicks 250 pk., Foam plates 40 pk., paper plates 72 pk., or napkins 200 pk. $.99. Nabisco crackers triscuit 9 oz., Wheat Thins 9.1 oz. or Ritz 13.7 oz. 2 for $4 and use $.75 off 2 from 01-26-14 SS. Dawn Dish liquid 9 oz. $.99 with in ad coupon, limit 3 and use the coupons from the 12/29 P&G that expire today. Puffs Facial Tissue 48, 56, 68 or 96 sheets or Kleenex 85 sheets $.99 with in ad coupon, limit 3. I prefer a larger pack for this price of facial tissue, but not a bad filler. Renuzit Adjustables Air Freshener 7 oz. $.89 with in ad coupon, limit 3 and use $.55 off 3 from 1/26 RP, if that was in our local inserts. Mars minis or M&M’s 9.9 to 13 oz. 2 for $5 and use $1 off 2 from in store Walgreens coupon booklet and use $1.50 off 2 from 1/12 RP or $1 off 2 from 1/26 RP. Some valentine fillers include: mini sticker books or heart shaped container $.50 with in ad coupon, limit 4 and Valentine plastic tumbler 12 oz. $.33 with in ad coupon, limit 6. Wet N Wild Cosmetics $1.49 and use $1 off 1 from 1/16 RP. Free items after RR include: Pur-Absorb Iron Supplement 28 pk. ($10 RR), Culturelle Health & Wellness Probiotic 30 ct. ($10 RR) and KY Ultra Gel 1.5 oz. ($5.99 RR). Bayer low dose aspirin 32 or 36 ct. $1.99 and use $1 off 1 1/26 SS or 1/5 SS or 12/15 RP and Pocket Your Dollars lists some printables. This makes it $.99 each, but I used to see this free all the time, but haven’t lately. Mars candy single 1.05 to 2.17 oz. $.59 with in ad coupon, limit 3. Pocket Your Dollars lists this coupon B2G1 M&M’s Chocolate Candies 1.1-1.74 oz. (max value $1.29) from 1/12 Red Plum insert to combine with this deal. Ah, yes, I had read about the Extra gum 3 for $2 through 2/22 and there is a printable $.50 off 1 Extra at coupons.com. If I go to Walgreens, it would be for Chex Mix, but I have to check my stash. I already price matched two bags at Walmart of the flavor my hubby likes, assuming Walgreens would not have that flavor in. But may decide to get some dependent on how much I have. Otherwise, maybe some Extra gum or maybe some cashew halves & pieces dependent on what we have also in stock.
So probably will do both, because of there proximity to each other, and get a few items only. I am getting low on my free Colgate Total toothpaste, as that is what we use and all other free toothpaste is donated.
