Now for the weekly, am I heading to CVS or Walgreens today. Are you headed to either this week?
Here is the Pocket Your Dollars CVS listing for this week. Pepsi, 7Up, A&W, Canada Dry or Sunkist 2 liters $.99, limit 5. Mars chocolate singles 1.08 to 1.92 oz. $.50. Dawn 9 oz. dish liquid $.99 and use $.25 off 1 from 9/29 P&G or $.50 off 1 special varieties from 9/29 P&G. CVS usually includes the more expensive varieties in their sales, while Walgreens does not. There is a Skippy/Unilever deal where you can buy $10 worth of participating items and get back $3 in ECBs. The Skippy peanut butter 15 to 16.3 oz. $2.50 and the Ragu or Bertolli pasta sauce 15 to 24 oz. 3 for $5 (about $1.67) or the Hellmann’s Mayonnaise 22 to 30 oz. $3 can all make reasonable deals. Use $0.75 off 2 Skippy Peanut Butter or Spread Products 15 oz.+ from 9/15 Smart Source insert. For Skippy this works out to buying 4 for $10 – 2 $.75 off 2 coupons = Pay $8.50 and receive $3 back in ECBs, so like paying $5.50 for 4 Skippy peanut butters or about $1.38 each. Pasta Sauce would be Buy 6 for $10 and receive $3 back, so like paying $7 for 6 jars of pasta sauce or about $1.17 each. I would be jumping on the RAgu pasta sauce deal, if they carried the one flavor my family preferred, which they do not. Dr. Pepper 2 liters $.99, limit 5. Filippo Berio olive oil 16.9 oz. $3.99 and use $1 off 1 printable (coupons.com) or printable (brick). Final Price being $2.99 for a 16.9 oz. or just under $.18 per ounce. The cheapest extra virgin olive oil that I found at Walmart or Kroger yesterday was about $.20 per ounce, so this is a good deal and I am low. Lindt chocolate bar 3 to 4.4 oz. $2.50 and use the $2 off 1 coupon printable (facebook, after watching video). You can buy these free right now at Kroger with this coupon. (I haven’t tried a bite yet of the two I bought free at Kroger yet. Looking forward to it, at least trying the dark orange.) Hershey’s snack size 6 pack $.99 and there is a $1 off 2 Hershey 6 pack coupon from 8/11 Smartsource insert or printable (brick). Pepsi 12 packs 3 for $11 and receive $3 back in ECBs when you buy 3. This is like paying $8 for 3 or $2.67ish each. There is also a Nexus deal for those who like their hair care products, which is never cheap. Look at Pocket Your Dollars for that deal, but there is $3 off 1 printable coupons to combine with it. I will be headed to CVS today, but mainly for the olive oil. I will look at 2 liters, may pick up Dawn dish liquid and may consider Pepsi 12 packs.
Here is the Walgreens Pocket Your Dollars listing. Nestle Candy .77 to 2.1 oz. $.49, limit 6. Coke 2 liters $1 with in ad coupon, limit 3. Campbell’s tomato or chicken noodle soup 10.75 oz. $.75 with in ad coupon, limit 4. Use the $.40 off 4 from 9/8 Smartsource insert or the $1 off 5 printable from the manufacturer’s website. Kraft Macaroni & Cheese 7.25 oz. $.69 with in ad coupon, limit 4. For me this makes a good filler, as this is the cheapest price I can tend to regularly find. Butterball turkey Bacon 6 oz. $.99 and use $.55 off 1 from September All You Magazine or printable (facebook). Xtra laundry detergent 30 loads $1.49. Nice freezer or storage bags 15 to 25 pk. or Snack, sandwich or paper lunch bags 50 or 100 pk. $.99. Nice popcorn balls 1 oz. $.33 each with in ad coupon, limit 3. Nips 4 oz. $.69 with in ad coupon, limit 4. Halloween coloring and activity book 32 or 64 page $.33 with in ad coupon, limit 3. Dawn dish liquid 9 oz. $.99. Crest rinse is cheap and listed on the Pocket Your Dollar listing. Kleenex Cottonelle toilet paper 12 large rolls (I think this is equivalent to 18 regular rolls.) $4.49 and use $1 off 1 coupon from Walgreens October coupon booklet. Looks like some $1.50 candy after $1 off 2 coupon from the Walgreens October coupon booklet and the $1 off 2 Nestle coupon from the 9/15 Smartsource or the $1.50 off 3 from the 9/29 Smartsource insert. I did miss the Nice dozen large eggs for $.99. Okay, looks to me like I would head to Walgreens if I wanted some candy for Halloween, but I have not talked to my neighbors yet to know if trick or treaters come to our condos/homes, and so will be skipping Walgreens this week.
Looks like just CVS for me today.
