CVS and Walgreens Deals for 9/1 through 9/7

Time for me to decide if I am doing CVS, Staples or Walgreens this week. I do have to run by Home Depot today to get a new furnace filter, but other than that, not sure what I am doing. Let’s find out, shall we?

Here is the Pocket Your Dollars CVS listing. First there is the 25% shopping pass, but it always excludes sale prices, etc. so I rarely find much to use it on. I think last time I saved about $.20 or something like that with it. Kellogg’s frosted mini-wheats, crispix, Crunchy Nut cereal 10.8 to 18 oz., FiberPlus 5 ct., Nutri-Grain bars 8 to 10 ct. $2 or selected General Mills cereal 8.9 to 13 oz. $2, limit 6. Pocket Your Dollars lists some of the available coupons for this deal, but seems to be missing some of the recent printables for General MIlls, including $1 off 1 Honey Nut Cheerios or Honey Nut Cheerios Medley CRunch or $1 off 1 Fiber One, etc. I used a number of mine at Kroger, so not sure what I have left. Dawn dish liquid 9 oz. $.88, limit 6. Campbell’s chicken noodle or tomato soup 10.75 oz. $1 and receive a $.50 off 1 coupon from the CVS coupon machine. Coke 2 liters buy one get one free, limit 4. Dr. Pepper 2 liters buy one get one free, limit 4. Hormel Compleats 10 oz. $2 and use the $1.50 off 3 coupon from 7/14 Smartsource insert or printable (coupons.com) or printable (manufacturer website). Xtra laundry detergent 30 loads $1.49. Puffs pop-up 96 ct. or Puffs Plus 48 to 68 ct. tissues $.88, limit 6. Receive a $1 off P&G items coupon from the coupon machine and use $0.25/3 Puffs Facial Tissue Singles OR $0.25/1 3-Pack+ (excludes trial/travel size) from 9/1 P&G insert. Buying 3 would be $2.64 – $1 from the coupon machine = $1.64 and $.25 from 9/1 P&G coupon = $1.39. This comes out to just over $.46 each. If I go to CVS, it will be mainly for the Puffs, as we have been going through facial tissues like mad. I had a cold and was using them big time, but my son keeps being sniffly for the past two weeks or so. (I assume allergies.)

Looks like Staples is primarily done with the back to school sales.

Here is Pocket Your Dollars Walgreens listing. Pepsi 2 liters $1, when you buy 4. Sunny Smile Plates paper 6 or 9 inch 72 pack or Foam 8.875 inch 40 pk. $.99. A&W, 7Up, Sunkist, Canada Dry or Hawaiian Punch 12 packs 4 for $11, but only when buying 4. Chex Mix 5.5 to 8.75 oz., Bugles 7.5 oz. or Gardetto’s 5.5 oz. $.99 and use the $.50 off 2 Chex Mix, Any 4.5 Oz. Or Larger from 08-04-13 SS. There was some $.60 off 2 printables, but the database does not list them and I can’t find them either. Nestle Candy .77 to 2.1 oz. $.49, limit 6. Kashi Cereal 13.8 to 14 oz. or Kellogg’s Special K Cereal 11.2 to 12.5 oz. or Bars 5 or 6 pack or Cracker chips 4 oz. $1.99. There is a $1 off 2 Special K cereals printable (coupons.com). Darn there was supposed to be a $1 off 1 Kashi coupon on coupons.com, but not there for me. Looks like best I can find then makes the Special K $1.49 each. Great fillers including the baking soda 16 oz. and Morton’s salt 26 oz. $.59 with in ad coupon, limit 3 and Lindsay olives 5 or 6 oz. $.99 with in ad coupon, limit 6. Jack’s pizza 12 inch 3 for $10 and use in store September coupon booklet for $3 off 3 and pay $7 for 3 or $2.33 each. Hormel compleats 10 oz. $2 when buying 2 and use the $1.50 off 3 coupon referenced above in the CVS list. Nice chocolate 4 to 5 oz. 2 for $2, when buying 2. More cheap school supplies in the in ad coupons including: Filler paper $.79 (limit 3), Index cards 3×5 inch 70 or 100 pk. $.49 (limit 6), Paper Mate highlighters 6 pk. $.99 (limit 3) or Posterboard 22×28 inch $.39 (Limit 3). Cetaphil skin care cleanser or lotion 16 oz. $7.99. (This is a bit cheaper than the normal price, at least, but I think I don’t need it at this moment.) There is a good Nivea for Men deal with a printable coupon, which Pocket Your Dollars does list. Scope OUtlast or Dual Blast mouthwash 25.4 oz. $2.99 and receive $1 back in RRs and use the $1.50 off 1 Scope Mouthwash 750 mL + from 9/1 P&G insert for at total of $.49 after coupon and RRs. Digestive Advantage Intensive Bowel Support 32 ct. free after RRs. Nice dozen large eggs $.99. Butterball Turkey bacon 6 oz. $.99 and use the $.55 off 1 coupon from the September or July All You magazines. General Mills or Quaker Cereals 12.2 to 14.5 oz. $1.67. Pocket Your Dollars does list most of the General MIlls coupons. IE there are a few more printables, but most are just on different ones, but if you want them look at the Kroger post from this week. Sinful colors nail color $.99. Palmolive Dish liquid 10 oz. $.89. Looks like about it. If I do Walgreens it would be for the $1.67 cereals dependent on what coupons I have left or can print.
