CVS, Staples and Walgreens Deals for 8/4 through 8/10

This week, from what I have seen from other blogs looks like a good Staples and Walgreens week, but I still have to look it all over and see what I am interested in and what I may do tomorrow.

Here is the CVS Pocket Your Dollars Listing. First we have a 20% off coupon, but restrictions do exist. Basically it is 20% off most non-sale priced items, which means I rarely tend to use these, as CVS pricing seems more expensive to me. Sparkle paper towels 8 pk. $5 and use $1 off 1 Sparkle Paper Towels, 8 Roll Or Larger, Any from July 2013 All You magazine or June 2013 Family Fun magazine or printable (manufacturer website). This makes an 8 pack $4, which is what I prefer to pay. Kellogg’s Cereal 9 to 18.2 oz. or Rice Krispies treats 8 ct. $1.99. Pocket Your Dollars lists some coupons that help with this deal. General Mills 8.9 to 14 oz. (excludes Fiber One) or Cascadian Farm Organic 16 oz. $8.64 for 3 and receive $3 back in ECBs when you buy 3. This comes out to 3 for $5.64 or $1.88 a piece. Pocket Your Dollars also lists a number of coupons that go along with this deal. (Hmmm, maybe a good deal on cereal can be found at CVS this week.) 7up, Canada Dry, A&W or Sunkist 12 oz. cans 12 pk. 3 for $11 and receive $3 back in ECBs for a total of $8 for 3 or about $2.67 each. Revlon nail for $4.99 and receive $3 back in ECBs, limit 6 and use the $2 off 1 Revlon cosmetic from the 7/28 Smartsource insert for free after ECBs. Ajax dish liquid 14 oz. $.89. Arizona Tea can 23 to 23.5 oz. 2 for $1 and receive a $.12 off 2 coupon from the CVS coupon machine for a total of $.88 for 2 can of Arizona tea. Coke 2 liters $.88, limit 5. If I go to CVS it will be for some 12 packs of A&W and some cereal, as I already price matched some Coke 2 liters at Walmart. As my son will be back in school soon, we will be going through more 12 packs. He and my husband take one a day to work/school for lunch.

I did not receive a Staples ad with my newspaper on Sunday, but had seen on other blogs filler paper for a $.01 with $5 purchase, so really want to dig up a Staples flyer. But when I went to their website and looked for the Oak Ridge store, the only flyer to come up was a furniture flyer, but if I clicked on the Knoxville store, then the flyer that others were mentioning came up. So I have no idea if these deals are good in Oak Ridge, but I may find out tomorrow afternoon, but I will still let you know what I like the looks up. Penny deals include: filler paper 120 sheets limit 5 with $5 purchase. Bic .7 mm mechanical pencils 5 pack $.25, limit 2. Pentel ballpoint pens assorted colors pack of 5, $3.29 and receive $3.29 back in easy rebate. Hammermill copy paper $6.99 and receive $5.99 back in easy rebate. (Ad seems to also have a $1 off coupon later that would make this free after easy rebate.) Bic dry erase markers fine tip 4 pack $1. Westcott 5″ scissors 2 pack $1. Bounty Duratowel single roll $.99. Staples Photo Plus paper 4×6 $9.99 and receive $6.99 back in Easy Rebate and use coupon in insert for $3 off, so free after Easy Rebate. There is the bic stationary coupon $1 off 1 that was supposed to be in our 8/4 Smartsource insert, but was not in mine and a $1.50 off 2 Bic Stationary printable coupon from their facebook page after you enter the contest. Again, I have no idea if these deals are available at the Oak Ridge store or not.

Here is the Walgreens Pocket Your Dollars listing. Paper Mate Stick Pens 10 pk. or Mechanical pencils 5 pk. $.29, limit 6. Pepsi 2 liters 4 for $4, but must buy 4. Pepsi 12 pack 12 oz. cans 4 for $10, but must buy 4. Nice Spring Water 24 pk. 16.9 oz. bottles $2.49, limit 3. Wexford Memo Books 50 or 80 sheets 6 for $1, when buying 6 or $.29 each when not buying 6. (I do like carrying one of these with me sometimes for writing down prices, etc.) Adventure Trails backpack $3.99. Lipton Pure leaf tea 18.5 oz. $.99 and receive $.99 back in RRs. (Darn there was a printable coupon, but no longer exists.) Capri Sun 10 pk. 2 for $3 and receive 1,000 balance rewards when you buy 2. Fiber One Snack Bars or Brownies 5 or 6 pk. or Nature Valley Snack Bars or Thins 5 to 10 pk. $1.99. Use $.50 off 1 Fiber One Chewy Bars Or 90 Calorie Products, Any Box from 08-04-13 SS. Use $.50 off 1 Fiber One Chewy Bars, 90 Calorie Products (Brownies, Bars Or Cakes) Or Protein Chewy Bars, Any Box from 07-14-13 SS or $.60 off 1 printable (boxtops4education, Same specifications as earlier mentioned coupon. This coupon is probably also on the Betty Crocker and PIllsbury sites, but all are related and you can usually only print two total.) I think our best Nature Valley coupon is this one.. $.75 off 1 Nature Valley Soft-Baked Oatmeal Squares, any 6 ct or larger from 07-28-13 SS. Wonder if these will be included in the sale or not. Nice Cheese shredded or block 8 oz. $2, with in ad coupon, limit 4. Ajax 14 oz. or Gain 9 oz. dish liquid $.89 with in ad coupon, limit 3. Sunny Smile paper 6 or 9 inch 72 pack plates or foam 8.875 inch 40 pk. $.99 with in ad coupon, limit 4. Wexford Pencil sharpener $.39 with in ad coupon, limit 3. (My son claims many of these cheap pencil sharpeners don’t work well.) Plastic supplies box or Wexford Filler Paper 130 sheets $.69 with in ad coupon, limit 3. Wexford stick pens 20 pk. $.99 with in ad coupon, limit 3. Wexford legal pads 2 pk. 50 sheets each or correction fluid 2 pk. $.99 with in ad coupon, limit 3. Penway wooden ruler 12 inch or Wexford plastic protractor 6 inch $.19 with in ad coupon, limit 3. Wexford dry erase markers 4 pk. $.99 with in ad coupon, limit 3. Sunny Smile paper towels single roll $.50 with in ad coupon, limit 8. General Mills Cereal 8.9 to 12.3 oz. $1.88. Colgate total toothpaste $3.49 and receive $2.50 back in RRs. use the $1 off 1 coupon from the 7/28 Smartsource insert. There are a lot of good items for free after coupon and RRs or cheap and many good fillers. I am going to have fun if I have time to at Walgreens this week. 🙂 Need to try and not spend too much though! Just I have been getting low on my toothpaste.
