Am I heading to CVS or Walgreens tomorrow? I suspect so, I know there is a free chocolate bar at CVS and maybe a cereal deal at Walgreens… but let’s look it over and find out.
Here is the CVS posting from Pocket Your Dollars. There is Pepsi 2 liters for $.99, limit 5. Scott choose a size paper towels 6 pk. for $5.49, limit 2. There is a $1 off 1 coupon from the 5/12 Smartsource insert that you can combine with this. CVS is still running the special K cereal/bars deal. There is a buy one get one free sale on the Dentyne, Trident or Stride gum 9 to 18 ct. and a coupon out from the 5/19 Smartsource insert. (If you only have one of the Trident/Dentyne/stride coupons, Walgreens may be a better place to use it this week.) Schick razor cartridges have a $5 back in ECBs when you buy 1. (I do need some cartridges soon, so priced out Walmart this morning, to have some comparisons going, so may pick up some for my razor.) Cheerios 11.25 to 14 oz. $2.29 and receive $.50 off 1 coupon from the CVS coupon machine and use with a $.50 off 1 original cheerios from coupons.com. With the sizes listed, it may include other varieties of cheerios too which has some printables at boxtops for education, pillsbury, betty crocker, etc. (Honey nut cheerios and honey nut cheerios medley crunch). There may still be a $.75 off 1 Multigrain Cheerios coupon available also at coupons.com. Ajax dish liquid 14 oz. for $.88, limit 5. The free candy is mars 1.08 to 1.92 oz. singles. Pay $.75 and receive $.75 back in ECBs, limit 1. Looks like CVS for me is a free candy bar, maybe some cheerios, and some Pepsi 2 liters.
Here is the Walgreens Pocket Your Dollars listing. I have to say some of the Sunday/Monday deals looked interesting, but wasn’t shopping those days. Nice Cashew Halves & Pieces 8 or 9.25 oz. $1.99 is a good price. Sunny Smile single roll paper towels or bath tissue $.50 each with in ad coupon, limit 10. Perhaps some cheap or free Crest toothpaste, Oral B toothbrushes or Scope mouthwash, dependent on what coupons you have and what is included in the sale, after $2 in RRs. Pocket Your Dollars has details of course. There are a number of good filler items including Act II microwave popcorn singles for $.25 with in ad coupon, Nice canned mushrooms or oranges for $.69 with in ad coupon, Nice Cream cheese block 8 oz. for $.99 with in ad coupon, Nice canned olives $.99 with in ad coupon, Nice 8 to 12 oz. cheese for $2 with in ad coupon, Nice lunchmeat 5 or 8 oz. $1.50 with in ad coupon, Hershey’s candy singles 1.4 to 2 oz. $.59 with in ad coupon, Nice hard, gummy or chewy candy 3 to 9.5 oz. for $.50 with in ad coupon, Nice chocolate 4 to 5 oz. for $.79 with in ad coupon and Dawn dish liquid 9 oz. $.99 with in ad coupon, limit 3. Stride or ID 14 piece or Wrigley’s or Extra gum 15 piece 3 for $2, when you buy 3. Use the $1/3 Stride, Dentyne, Trident or ID Gum Single Packs from 5/19 Smart Source #1 insert to buy the gum 3 for $1 and receive 250 balance reward points when you buy 3. I may pickup a toothpaste or toothbrush dependent on what coupons I have and what is in the sale. Otherwise probably some chewing gum and I thought I had seen something about a cereal sale at Walgreens, but I guess not. May pickup a Listerine, but need to compare a few prices first.
